In the surroundings of Steyr there are a lot of other sights to visit:

  • Christkindl
    In Christkindl, there is a small but very interesting little pilgrimage church. The village is well known mainly due to the Christmas Post-Office opened only from the end of November to the beginning of January. Another curiosity of the village are the Nativity Sets - the mecanical set of Karl Klauda and the Oriental one of Ferdinand Pöttmesser. It is worth visiting for Old and Young!
  • Garsten
    The former collegiate church of Garsten was renovated during the last few years and new organs were installed and hence it shows its old splendidness. Do not miss a visit of this baroque jewel!
